Persephone's Return Flower Essence, Crocus, Daffodil, Violet, Dandelion

$16.00
made with crocus, daffodil, violet & dandelion essence, spring water & brandy

This blend is made of essences from the very first flowers to emerge in the springtime: crocus, daffodil, violet and dandelion. The transition from winter to spring is also synonymous with the ancient goddess Persephone's return from the Underworld, where she spend 6 months (fall-autumn), and then 6 months (spring-summer) here on Earth. As she travels back, she brings new growth with her.

These flower essences bring the energy and spirit of newness, the spark of life after the dormancy of winter. They can assist us through the difficulties that new beginnings can bring, when we may struggle to transition into new life. They help us find our joy again, a renewed sense of possibility and the glimmer of hope that comes after darkness. Persephone is a goddess well acquainted with transitions and the "in-between" places and phases of life. This blend can help us as we make our own transitions and be supportive for those of us who struggle with these seasonal changes (and change in general). Persephone also brings her well-earned wisdom with her up from the Underworld, bringing clarity and a sense of renewed vision for the present and future.

Shake well before use. 2-10 drops as needed on the tongue, in water, tea, in a bath, face wash, etc. Flower essences can be taken any time, and do not interact with any medications. Please reach out if you have any questions!

*A note on essences: Essences of flowers, plants, moon phases, places, astrological events, etc. work on energetic, spiritual, emotional levels. They are made as an act of magical co-creation, and do not have the same kind of effect as a tincture or essential oil. A small amount of plant material is either placed inside or near a glass container, under the sun or moon's rays, or near a tree, waterfall, etc., and the "essence" or spirit is transferred to the water. It is a sustainable way to connect with a plant vibrationally, or one you would not want to otherwise ingest.

Working with flower essences is often subjective, meaning not everyone will experience the same effects. These can range from subtle to profound, and it is often most beneficial to pause and check in with your body before and after taking them. They are great to work with alongside meditation, therapy, or ritual, as well as in our day-to-day lives.*
